What this is
An independent guide to one place: the Jigokudani Snow Monkey Park in Yamanouchi, Nagano, and the 21 tours sold to it on GetYourGuide. Nothing else.
What we are not
Not a tour operator, not a booking agent, and not affiliated with the park, with Nagano Dentetsu, with Zenkō-ji or with any operator named on this site. Nobody has paid to appear here, and no operator has seen a page before it was published.
How the numbers get here
Prices, ratings and review counts are a dated snapshot of 7 Sep 2026 taken from the operators’ own GetYourGuide listings; they move, and the date is printed beside them so you can tell how stale they are. Everything about the park itself — hours, the ¥800 (≈$5.1) admission, the walk, the bus — comes from the park’s own site, the operator’s own site, or two independent sources that agree. Where we could not establish something, the page says so instead of estimating.
When a tour is not the answer
Several pages here conclude that no tour helps — the walk to the pool, the months the monkeys stay dry, the question of getting here from Kansai. This is an affiliate site and every page can still be booked from; what those pages do is keep the selling out of the argument. 158 sections across 48 pages carry no booking control at all, each one saying in its own markup why it does not: because the answer is «no tour», or because the thing being explained is not ours to sell.
